WHEREAS, the City Council of
desirous of promoting traffic safety
and,
the City of Paris is
in any practical manner;
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation is
desirous of upgrading the high mast illumination on US 271 at
Business 271-B and Loop 286, Project Length 0.2 Miles, being
Project No. MC 0221-1-55 dated November 20, 1991; and,
WHEREAS, the plans for the proposed high mast
illumination improvement should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the plans for the proposed "State of Texas, Texas
Department of Transportation, Plans of Proposed State Highway
Improvement, State Project MC 0221-01-055, Upgrade High Mast
Illumination on U. S. 271 at Business US 271-B and Loop 286,
Project Length 0.2 Miles, dated November 20, 1991", should in
all things be approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, tha t the Mayor of the City of
Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the
plans as submitted.
