BACKGROUND: This is the annual bid for curb/gutter, standard driveway approaches, and
reinforced concrete sidewalks to be used by the Street Division, Water Distribution, Sewer
Maintenance, and Parks Divisions. The bid tabulation sheet is attached for details of the bids.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The City of Paris Public Works Department has received sealed bids for
concrete work and would like to award bid according to lowest responsible bidder. Two bids were
submitted.
BUDGET: Monies are budgeted in the Street, Water Distribution, Sewer Maintenance, and Parks
Divisions.
RECOMMENDATION: Award bid to Beshirs Construction as indicated on the attached bid
tabs, in the approximate amount of $172,370. These are estimated amounts with no guarantees.
