1991-089-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris has $15,000.00 budgeted in the Street Department (General Fund) for the
RESOLUTION NO. 91-089
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has $15,000.00 budgeted in
the Street Department (General Fund) for the Martin Luther
King Junior Extension Project; and,
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to purchase ground
surveys, establish property corners, prepare descriptions and
to provide the data on the proper format for our Computer
Aided Drafting System; and,
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Revenue Share Fund
where we budgeted to match for our Community Development
Block Grant which was not funded this year, and by utilizing
a small portion of this Revenue Share money, we will have a
total of approximately $32,000.00 to obtain the information
necessary to acquire right-of-way for the project; and,
WHEREAS, the following accounts in the amounts shown
therein as follows:

are unincumbered; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the foregoing Revenue Shar ing Funds ar e necessary for
the Martin Luther King Junior Extension Project and therefore
should be transferred; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Finance, W.
E. Anderson, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
transfer from the following accounts the amounts shown
therein:
