1991-085-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 90-065, award the
RESOLUTION NO. 91-085
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 90-065, award the contract for
"12" WATER MAIN ALONG CENTER STREET FROM 7th STREET N.W. TO
FITZHUGH AVENUE, PROJECT NO. 88-WSRB-08-90" to Bill
Hazelwood, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl E. Smith, acting as
project engineer of said project recommends the amendment of
said contract by Change Order No. One and Final attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in
contract price of $57,335.55 for a total of $219,599.95 for
adjusting As-Bid quantities to As-Built quantities, and such
form should be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized
to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that "12" WATER MAIN ALONG CENTER STREET FROH 7th
STREET N .W. TO FITZHUGH AVENUE, PROJECT NO. 88-WSRB-08-90",
contract is hereby amended by Change Order No. One and Final
attached hereto as Exhibit "A", providing for a net increase
in contract price of $57,335.55 for a total of $219,599.95
for adjusting As-Bid quantities to As-Built quantities, which
is in all things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of
Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby autborized and
directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute said
Change Order No. One and Final.
Passed and adopted this 12th day of August, 1991.
