WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher,
does hereby recommend the re-appointment of Nadine Ausbie,
and the appointments of Eric S. Clifford and Joe McCarthy,
for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 1991, and
ending June 30, 1994; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the re-appointment of Nadine Ausbie, and the
appointments of Eric S. Clifford and Joe McCarthy, to serve
as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Paris, for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 1,
1991, and ending June 30, 1994, be, and the same are hereby
approved and confirmed by the City Council of the City of
Paris.

WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of
the Animal Advisory Board due to the relocation of Dr. Larry
Crumpler, and it is necessary to fill that vacancy, and the
Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, having appointed
Anthony Bethel to serve as member at large on said Animal
Advisory Board, and has submitted the name of such person to
the City Council of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, this resolution confirms previous appointments
of the remaining members of the Animal Advisory Board; and,
WHEREAS, members of
heretofore been appointed
they are holding; and,
the Animal Advisory Board have
without the designated position
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to confirm all members
of the board with their designated positions; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

at large of the Animal Advisory Board, to serve until a

WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member
of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark-Tex
Council of Governments the Board of Directors of same shall
be composed of members elected or appointed by the member-
ship; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three
members of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of
Governments as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, George Fisher, Mayor of the Ci ty of Par is,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City
of Paris of George Fisher as Eric Clifford's successor, and
Don Shelton as E. W' Booth's successor, to serve until their
successors are duly qualified or installed or until they
become disqualified to so serve; and,
WHEREAS, George Fisher, Mayor of the City of Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City
of Paris of Billy Joe Burnett to serve as a member of the
