(500 words or less) The City of Paris - Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force is a small two-man task force covering a large (9) nine county area that is mainly rural in composition. Lamar County has a population of 47, 191 and Paris accounts for 25,005 according to 2016 numbers. There are 52,176 registered vehicles in Lamar County and 503,912 in the combined covered counties.
