WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Paris that there are streets and alleys
located in the Texas and Pacific Addition, being Pacific Avenue
between the east boundary line of Church Street and the west
boundary line of 3rd S tr eet S. E. and between the eas t boundary
line of 3rd Street S.E. and the west boundary line of 6th Street
S.E.; Sycamore Street between the East boundary line of Lot 2,
City Block 162 and the west boundary line of Lot 2, Block I-A;
4th Street S.E. between the north boundary line of Paris Blvd.
and the south boundary line of Lot 2, City Block 162; 5th Street
S.E. between the north boundary line of Paris Blvd and the south
boundary line of Lot 5, City Block 162; and the alleys located in
Blocks 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the Texas and Pacific
Addition; and,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City
Council that said streets and alleys are not desired by the
property owners adjacent thereto and are of no use to the City
of Paris and its citizens; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he
is hereby authorized to execute a special warranty deed to the
streets and alleys being closed to the adjacent owners on either
side of said streets and alleys, it appearing that the real and
true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as follows:
