DATE: July 27, 2020
BACKGROUND: Monte Moore owns .35 acres located in 3000 block of Clarksville Street, and
he is proposing to construct a duplex on the lot. The property is located across the street from the
Results Company. Current zoning is Neighborhood Services (NS), and the future land use plan
recommends Retail land use.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The owner has submitted a final plat of the property. City water and
sewer are available and access to the property is from Clarksville Street. The property is not
located in a FEMA designated flood zone.
It appears that the final plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations. The final
plat was approved 6-0 by the Planning & Zoning Commission on July 6th
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the final plat.
