LEGAL NOTICE
In compliance with the Charter of the City of Paris, Texas,
and Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, Local Government
Code, Section 102.006(b), notice is hereby given that a
Public Hearing on the City Manager's Proposed Budget for
the City of Paris for the fiscal year beginning October 1,
2020, and ending September 30, 2021, will be conducted by
the City Council on the 14th day of September, 2020, at 5:30
p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street,
Paris, Texas.
This budget will raise less total property taxes than last
year's budget by $260,859 or 2.86%, and of that amount
$59,213 is tax revenue to be raised from new property
added to the roll this year.
