WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership
of the Planning and Zoning Commission due to the resignation
of Dorothy Smith, and it is necessary to appoint her
successor, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S.
Clifford, having appointed Felix Gibson to serve the
unexpired term of Dorothy Smith, which ends December 31,
1991, and has submitted the name of such person to the City
Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the appointment of Felix Gibson, as a member of
the Planning and Zoning Commission to serve the unexpired
term of Dorothy Smi th, wh ich ends December 31, 1991, is by
the City Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and
confirmed.
