1989-144-RES WHEREAS, 7TH LEGISLATURE PASSED A BILL DESIGNATED TO ESTABLISH A PROCESS FOR CREATING AND MAINTAINING
RESOLUTION NO. 89-144
WHEREAS, the 7lst Legislature passed a bill designed to
establish a process for creating, maintaining, microfilming,
destroying and disposing of local government records; and,
WHEREAS, by January 1,1990, each local governmental unit
must designate a records manager; and,
WHEREAS, Mattie Cunningham is the City Clerk and as such is
the custodian of all official City documents and should be
appointed the Records Management Officer; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That Mattie Cunningham, City Clerk of the City of Paris, be and
she is hereby appointed Records Management Officer and the same
is hereby approved and confirmed.
