1989-116-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZED PREPARATION OF PLANS
RESOLUTION 89-116
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did
heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and specifications
for a project of construction for the rehabilitation of 303
sanitary sewer manholes more or less evenly distributed
throughout the City to eliminate infiltration and inflow using
various repair techniques; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by
Hayter Engineering, Inc., and approved by Earl Smith, City
Engineer, with the title being given thereto of Manhole
Rehabilitation Project No. 88-WSRB-05-89 Project, which plans and
specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer
of the City of Paris; and
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved
and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the plans and specifications for the Manhole Rehabilitation
Project No. 88-WSRB-05-89 Project are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such Manhole Rehabilitation
Project No. 88-WSRB-05-89 should be advertised for bids to be
received after due notice and thereafter returned to City Council
for letting, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on Wednesday, October 18,
1989, and should be presented to the City Council on the 13th day
of November, 1989, for the purpose of letting such bid.
