1989-117-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZED PREPARATION OF PLANS
RESOLUTION 89-117
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did
heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and specifications
for a project of construction for the existing concrete riprap
and spillway rehabilitation of Lake Crook Dam embankment; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by
RSA Consulting Engineers, and approved by Earl Smith, City
Engineer, with the title being given thereto of Lake Crook Dam
Rehabilitation Project No. 82.l7A, which plans and specifications
are recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of
Paris; and
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved
and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the plans and specifications for the Lake Crook Dam
Rehabilitation Project No. 82.l7A are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such Lake Crook Dam
Rehabilitation Project should be advertised for bids to be
received after due notice and thereafter returned to City Council
for letting, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on Wednesday, October 4, 1989,
and should be presented to the City Council on the 9th day of
October, 1989, for the purpose of letting such bid.
Passed and adopted this 11th day of September, 1989.
