Paris Visitors & Convention Council Board of Directors Meeting
Zoom Meeting
Monday, September 21, 2020
4:00 pm
Members Present: Chadlee Johnston, Brittney Keys, Tony Corso, John Bratcher, Trey Glascock,
Renee Harvey, Mark Pankaj, Brian Richie, Jeff Nutt, Dustin Broadway, Lea Emerson, Jay Hodge,
Greg Wilson and Ryan Whitaker.
Staff Present: Becky Semple, Gina Crawford and Paul Allen.
Chadlee Johnston called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.
Minutes: A motion to approve August minutes was made by Jeff Nutt, seconded by Tony Corso.
Motion passed unanimously.
Financials: A motion to approve August financials was made by Trey Glascock, seconded by
Mark Pankaj. Motion passed unanimously.
New Business: Paul Allen went over the year end marketing decisions. A motion to approve up
to $8,000 for several different videos done by DeadCat Media was approved by Trey Glascock,
seconded by Ryan Whitaker. Motion passed unanimously. He also stated that we are striving
to be a bicycle destination, so we want to have a presence at all the TMBRA races. A motion to
approve sponsoring TMBRA for $5,000 was made by Tony Corso, seconded by Lea Emerson.
Motion passes unanimously.
Becky Semple presented a survey to give to promoters having events so that we will be able to
know how long they stayed, where, event and restaurants. She will make some revisions.
Greg Wilson thanked the VCC board and staff for all they have done to make this a good year
even under the circumstances of the pandemic.
Adjourn: Trey Glascock made the motion to adjourn.
Meeting adjourned at 4:29 p.m.
