1989-123-RES WHEREAS,CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 89-016 PASSED
RESOLUTION NO. 89-123
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did hereto-
fore in Resolution No. 89-016, passed and adopted on the 13th day
of February, 1989, authorize the City's participation with the
State Department of Highways and Public Transportation in the
improvement of Loop Highway 286 S.W. - Missouri Pacific Railroad
overpass; and,
WHEREAS, said resolution authorized participation up to
$1,100.00 for right-of-way acquisition; and,
WHEREAS, the cost of said right-of-way acquisition has
exceeded the estimate and requires an additional contribution on
the part of the City of Paris in the amount of $250.00; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That $250.00 additional contribution to the right-of-way and
utility adjustment portion, being Account No. 8001.1.47, of the
Missouri Pacific Railroad overpass improvement project on Loop
Highway 286 S.W., be, and the same is hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance, W. E.
Anderson, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
transmit the City of Paris's check in the amount of $250.00, made
payable to the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation, to the attention of John T. Robinson, Jr.,
District Right-of-Way Supervisor, P. O. Box 250, Paris, Texas
75461.
