1989-124-RES WHEREAS, SECTION 26-23 OF CODE OF ORD OF COP AUTHORIZES CHIEF OF POLICE TO
RESOLUTION NO. 89-124
WHEREAS, Section 26-23 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paris authorizes the Chief of Police to determine the number
of members of the Paris Police Reserve, subject to concurrence by
the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Acting Chief of Police of the City of Paris
recommends the expans ion of the Pol ice Reserve Uni t up to 75
members; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City
of Paris that such Police Reserve Unit be expanded; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the maximum number of the Police Reserve Unit is hereby set
at 75 members.
