1989-083-RES WHEREAS, PARIS-LAMAR COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH, COUNTY OF LAMAR AND COP
RESOLUTION NO. 89-083
WHEREAS, the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health, the County
of Lamar and the City of Paris have contracted with Nancy
Gonzalez, M.D. for professional medical service to be rendered
through the Paris-Lamar County Health Unit; and,
WHEREAS, the County of Lamar and the City of Paris have
agreed to fund professional medical services being provided by
Nancy Gonzalez, M.D. in accordance with and in the form of the
Interlocal Agreement for Professional Medical Services Cost
Sharing attached hereto has Exhibit A which should in all things
be approved; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IN RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the Interlocal Agreement for Professional Medical Services
Cost Sharing in the form of Exhibit A attached hereto, be, and
the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of Paris,
Eric S. Clifford be and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute the Interlocal Agreement for Professional Medical
Services Cost Sharing with the County of Lamar.

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR
PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES
COST SHARING
STATE OF TEXAS S

This contract made and entered into this the 10th day of
July, 1989, by and between the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, a
body politic, acting by and through its Mayor, duly authorized,
hereinafter called City; and the COUNTY OF LAMAR, State of Texas,
acting by and through its County Judge, duly authorized,
hereinafter called County; hereby contract and agree as follows:
City and County agree to fund professional medical services
to be provided by contract physician as follows: County to pay
for 1/5 of the professional fee and 1/5 of the allowance for
health, disability, life and personal accident insurance and liS
of the allowance for medical liability insurance. The remaining
4/5 of the annual fee, health and disability insurance allowance
and medical liability insurance allowance shall be paid one half
by county and one half by City.
The contract shall remain in full force and effect until the
termination of the Medical Services Agreement between CITY,
COUNTY and HEALTH UNIT with Nancy Gonzalez, M.D.
In the event that COUNTY I S demand for sick call services
increases beyond the six hours provided for, then COUNTY's

payment would necessarily increase. In the event that CITY,
COUNTY and HEALTH UNIT agreed to contract for more than 30 hours
per week, then COUNTY's sick call payment would be.'the "sick call
hours divided by the total contract hours times the sum of
professional fee plus health and disability insurance allowance
and medical liability insurance allowance.
