1989-088-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 88-110 AWARDED
RESOLUTION NO. 89-088
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 88-110, award the contract for 20"
Water Main between Clement Road and Santa Fe Street near the
alignment of 3rd Street N.E. to B. Bray Construction Co., Inc.;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as project
engineer of said project recommends the amendment of said
contract by Change Order No. One and Final attached hereto as
Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in contract price
of $8,831. 75 to a total of $148,276.25 for adjusting as-built
quantities from bid quantities; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that 20" Water Main between Clement Road and Santa Fe
Street near the alignment of 3rd Street N.E. Project, contract
is hereby amended by Change Order No. One and Final attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric
Clifford, is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City
of Paris to execute said change order.
