1989-093-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 89-087 PASSED AND ADOPTED
RESOLUTION NO. 89-093
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did in
Resolution No. 89-087 passed and adopted on July 10, 1989, deny
the rate increase requested by Lamar County Electric Cooperative
Association; and,
WHEREAS, after further investigation and receipt of
additional evidence, it is deemed to be in the best interest of
the citizens of the Ci ty of Par is who are serv iced by Lamar
County Electric Cooperative Association to repeal Resolution No.
89-087 and adopt the rate increase recommended by the Public
Utilities Commission Stagg; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That Resolution No. 89-087, passed and adopted on July 10, 1989,
denying the rate increase requested by Lamar County Electric
Cooperative Association be, and the same is hereby repealed and
therefore is null and void and of no effect; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the rate recommended by the
Public Utilities Commission Staff in Docket No. 8717 is hereby
adopted and set for Lamar County Electric Cooperative Association
customers residing within the corporate limits of the City of
Paris.
