RESOLUTl ON NO. 89-100
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 89-032, award the contract for the
Replacement Force Main for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station
88WSRB-06-89 Project to Bill Hazelwood, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as project
engineer of said project recommends the amendment of said
contract by Change Order No. One and Final attached hereto as
Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in contract price
of $3,664.93 for a total of $29,192.93 for adjusting as-built
quantities from bid quantities and such form should be approved,
and the Mayor should be author ized to execute the same; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the Replacement Force Main for Campbell's Sewage Lift
Station 88WSRB-06-89 Project, contract is hereby amended by
Change Order No. One and Final attached hereto as Exhibit "A",
proving for a net increase in contract pr ice of $3,664.93 to a
total of $29,192.93 for adjusting as-built quantities from bid
quantities, which is in all things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor Pro Tern of the City
of Paris, Curtis Fendley, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute said Change
Order No. One and Final.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of August, 1989.

1'1Irpose of Change Order: The State Department of Highways and Publ ic Transportation required
a longer bore and casing than was designed and bid. An extra fitting and 41 feet of pipe
were necessary also to bring the pipeline back into alignment after meeting the State's
