1989-107-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL HAS UNDERTAKEN A PROJECT OF CONSTRUCTION OF A STORM WATER undertaken a project of construction of a storm water
RESOLUTION NO. 89-107
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has
undertaken a project of construction of a storm water curb inlet
and storm sewer conduit to convey storm water runoff to a natural
water course, entitled Drainage Improvements for 1000 Block of
33rd Street S.E., in accordance with plans and specifications
prepared by Earl Smith, City Engineer of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, the easement descriptions necessary
completion of said drainage improvement project are
Exhibit A attached hereto; and,
for the
shown on
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above described
utility easements are necessary for said improvement project and
that the same should be condemned; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to proceed to condemn the above described
property to be used for a project of construction of a storm
water curb inlet and storm sewer conduit to convey storm water
runoff to a natural water course, entitled Drainage Improvements
for 1000 Block of 33rd Street S.E..

SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Joseph
Leach survey, and being a part of Lot 6A, City Block
295, which was described in Deed dated January 12,
1966, from First Federal Savings and Loan to Troy
Simpkins and wife, Magaline Simpkins, recorded in
