1989-036-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 87-006 AUTHORIZED
RESOLUTION NO. 89-036
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Resolution No. 87-006 authorize the execution
of a lease agreement with Red River Valley Fair Association;
Inc., and,
WHEREAS, Red River Valley Fair Association, Inc., has
requested an addendum to its Lease Agreement, extending the
term of lease in order that it may finance and construct a
metal poultry barn 40 feet wide and 100 feet long with
restroom facilities on the fairgrounds across the street
from the livestock barn; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S.
Clifford, be. and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute on behalf of the City of Paris Addendum Number Two
to the Lease Agreement with Red River Valley Fair
Association, Inc., extending the term of lease from December
31, 1996, to end on December 31, 2005, attached hereto as
Exhibit A.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That this Addendum
Number Two to Red River Valley Fair Association, Inc. 's,
Lease, made the 10th day of April, 1989, by and between Red
River Valley Fair Association, Inc., and the CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, acting by and through its Mayor, Eric S.
Clifford, duly authorized,
WITNESSETH:
It is hereby mutually agreed by and between Red River
Valley Fair Association, Inc., and CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, that the third unnumbered paragraph of said lease be
changed to read as follows:
" The term of this lease is eighteen (18) years,
beginning on the 1st day of January, 1987, and ending
the 31st day of December, 2005."
