1989-017-RES WHEREAS, CIYT COUNCIL IN ORD NO 88-55 ANNEXED CERTAIN
RESOLUTION NO. 89-017
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Ordinance No. 88-055 annex certain property to
the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, in said annexation the City of Paris did
totally surround but not annex approximately 1208 acres
owned by Campbell Soup (Texas), Inc., a Texas corporation,
upon which exists Campbell Soup (Texas), Inc.'s waste
disposal sys tem, which is licensed by the State of Texas;
and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be inappropriate to bring
within the City of Paris such separately licensed sewer
facility with the attendant possibility that the City of
Paris would be responsible for this separately licensed
sewer treatment facility; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the findings heretofore made in conjunction with
the passage of annexation Ordinance 88-055, on the 19th day
of December, 1988, be documented by inclusion of the same in
the minutes of the City Council of the City of Paris.
