1989-065-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL IS AWARE OF ADIVISABILITY OF REQUIRING AN EXHIBIT
RESOLUTION NO. 89-065
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is aware of
the advisability of requiring an Exhibit Agreement to be used in
cases of exhibitors desiring to exhibit works of art or artifacts
at the Paris Public Library; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable that

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the form of Exhibit Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit A,
should and is in all things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all Exhibit Agreements, in the
form of Exhibit A, attached hereto, heretofore executed by the
Library Director of the City of Paris, be, and the same are
hereby ratified; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Beverly Lewis Campbell, Library
Director, be and she is hereby authorized and directed to from
time to time as necessary execute agreements with exhibitors in
the form of Exhibit Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit A, on
behalf of the City of Paris, Paris Public Library.

EXHIBIT AGREEMENT

Know a 11 men by these presence that neither the Ci ty of Pari s nor the
Paris Public Library will be responsible for items which are on loan to
the Library for display purposes. The City of Paris and the Paris Public
Library will assume no obligation for materials loaned to the Library for
display any place in the building, whether in the locked display cases or
in any other location.
It is the policy of the Library to keep the display case locked at all
times and the building locked at all times other than regular business
hours.
It is the responsibility of each individual owner of property placed in
the Library to obtain insurance if he/she deems it necessary.
Each person placing materials in the Library for display purposes is
required to sign this agreement as a condition of the Paris Public
Library's accepting the following described property for display:

The City of Paris and the Paris Public Library shall not be liable or
responsible for, and shall be saved and held harmless by

from and against any and all claims and damage of every kind, for damage
to or loss of property, arising out of or attributed, directly or
indirectly, to the operations of the Paris Public Library or the
performance or fa il ure to perform by the Ci ty of Pari s or Pari s Publ i c
Library, their officers, employees or agents, under this agreement,
including claims and damages arising in whole or in part from the
