1989-069-RES WHEREAS,COP IN ORD NO 88-055 ANNEXEED PROPERTY WHICH INCLUDED AN UNNAMED
RESOLUTION NO. 89-069
WHEREAS, the City of Paris did in Ordinance No. 88-055 annex
property which included an unnamed road that is connected to 19th
Street N. W. in the 2500 Block, said road departs 19th Street
N. W. with a curve to the right, then runs East in a straight
line, then turns North and runs North in a straight line; and,
WHEREAS, it would
appropriate names in
system; and,
be appropriate for said road to be given
keeping with the City's street naming
WHEREAS, the beginning curve and East-West portion of said
road should be named Butler Lane; and,
WHEREAS, the North-South portion of said road should be
named 18th Street N.W.; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the unnamed road connected to 19th Street N.W. should be
named as follows: The North-South portion of said road should be
named 18th Street N.W., and the East-West portion of said road
should be named Butler Lane.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Director of Community
Development and the City Engineer of the City of Paris insure
that all maps of the City of Paris reflect the street names
herein designated.
