1989-043-RES WHEREAS, VARIOUS PROGRAMS ARE SPONSORED BY STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES THAT OFFER JOB TRAINING
RESOLUTION NO. 89-043
WHEREAS, there are various programs sponsored by State and
Federal Agencies offering job training programs at no cost to the
employer and without obligation for permanent employment; and,
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Paris is desirous
of participating in and providing training for programs which
will foster good citizenship; and,
WHEREAS, it would be proper for the City Manager of the City
of Paris, Michael E. Malone, to be authorized to make application
for and to do all things necessary for the City of Paris
participating in such programs at no cost to the City of Paris;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone,
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to make application
for and participate in job training programs with no cost to the
City of Paris.
