1988-101-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris is desirous of receiving assistance from the State Department of Highways
RESOLUTION NO. 88-101
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is desirous of receiving
assistance from the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation Division of the State of Texas in the
installation, construction, use, operation and maintenance
of traffic signals on highways inside the City of Paris
which meet State of Texas warrants; and,
WHEREAS, in order to receive the assistance of the
State Department of Highways and Public Transportation, it
is necessary to enter into an intergovernmental agreement, a
copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, which should
in all things be approved and which would be in the best
interest of the City of Paris to execute; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S.
Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute Traffic Signal Agreement-Type G with Exhibit 1 and
Exhibit 2, in the form as shown on Exhibit A attached
hereto.
