1988-100-RES WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris has heretofore received a request from George C.
RESOLUTION NO. 88-100
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris has
heretofore received a request from George C. Tabangcora for
a pro rata water main extension with valves and fire
hydrant, to serve his property on 33rd Street S.W.; and,
WHEREAS, Chaney Engineering has prepared preliminary
plans, specifications, and an estimate of the total cost of
the project and delivered the same to the City Manager; and,
WHEREAS, it would be right and proper to have a public
hearing concerning the same at the regular council meeting
on November 10, 1988, at which time the City Council will
determine whether or not the pro rata project should be had;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That a public hearing be held by and before the City
Council of the City of Paris in regular session convened on
the 10th day of November, 1988, at 5:15 O'clock P.M. in the
Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, to hear all matters
relating to the matter of a water main extension with valves
and fire hydrant in the 3300 block of Austin Street between
33rd s.w. and 34th S.W. Streets.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That notice of the above
described hearing shall be given by advertisement one time
on the 16th day of October, 1988, in a newspaper published
in the City of Paris and additional written notice shall be
given by depositing in the U. S. Mail on or before the 21st
day of October, 1988, a day which is more than 14 days
before the date of such hearing, to all owners of property
abutting such sewer extension, as the names of such owners
are shown on the certified tax rolls of the City of Paris
and to the addresses so shown.
