1988-104-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has undertaken a project of construction entitled
RESOLUTION NO. 88-104
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has
undertaken a project of construction entitled Evergreen
Cemetery Water Main Extension in accordance with plans and
specifications prepared by Earl Smith, City Engineer of the
City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, the utility easement and temporary con-
struction easement descriptions necessary for the completion
of said water main extension project are shown on Exhibit A
attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above
described utility and temporary construction easements are
necessary for said improvement project and that the same
should be condemned; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed to condemn the
above described property to be used for said water main
extension.

DESCRIPTION
SITUATED within the Corporate Limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey 11778,
and being a tract of land now owned by the
Evergreen Cemetery Association Incorporated,
BEGINNING at a point in the South boundary
line of FM 1507, said point being North 89 degrees
52 minutes West a distance of 1159 feet from an
iron pin for the Northeast corner of said tract as
measured along the North boundary line,
THENCE South 0 degrees 08 minutes West a
distance of 21.0 feet to a point for a corner,
THENCE South 45 degrees 45 minutes West a
distance of 75.8 feet to a point for a corner,
THENCE North 89 degrees 44 minutes West a
distance of 9.0 feet to a point for a corner, said
point being in the East boundary line of State
Highway 24,
