1988-003-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its regular meeting on September 15, 1987, in RESOLUTION NO. 88-003 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its regular meeting on September 15, 1987, in Ordinance Number 87-052 authorize the Cleaning and Painting Apparatus Room Ceiling at Central Fire Station, and bids for such were received until 10: 00 0' clock A.M., Wednesday, January 6, 1988; and, WHEREAS, the best bid for such cleaning and painting was made by Quality Painting Co., 1128 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas 75460, and it should be awarded the bid for such cleaning and paining; and, WHEREAS, the form of contract for such cleaning and painting project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Bid of Quality Paining Co. in the amount of $1,559.00, is hereby accepted and let conditioned upon said company meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the bid documents; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris a contract for such cleaning and painting, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto, with Quality Painting Co.
