1988-002-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its regular meeting on September 15, 1987, in
RESOLUTION NO. 88-002
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at
its regular meeting on September 15, 1987, in Ordinance
Number 87-052 authorize the purchase of one (1) Air Type
Street Sweeper, and bids for such were received until 10:00
o'clock A.M., Wednesday, January 6, 1988; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for such equipment was made by
Industrial Disposal Supply, Co., PIano, Texas 75074, a copy
of whose bid is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and it should
be awarded the bid for such equipment; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the Bid of Industrial Disposal Supply, Co. upon
the terms and conditions shown on Exhibit A attached hereto
is hereby accepted and let conditioned upon said equipment
meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the
bid documents; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris a
contract for one (1) Air Type Street Sweeper, upon the terms
and conditions shown in Exhibit A attached hereto, with
Industrial Disposal Supply Co.
