1988-001-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its regular meeting on September 15, 1987, IN
RESOLUTION NO. 88-001
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at
its regular meeting on September 15, 1987, IN Ordinance
Number 87-052 authorize the purchase of one (1) New Model
Hydraulic Excavator, and bids for such were received until
10:00 o'clock A.M., Wednesday, January 6, 1988; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for such equipment was made by
Conley-Lott-Nichols Machinery Co., Longview, TX a copy of
whose bid is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and it should be
awarded the bid for such equipment; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the Bid of Darr Equipment Company upon the terms
and conditions shown on Exhibit A attached hereto is hereby
accepted and let conditioned upon said equipment meeting all
of the terms and specifications included in the bid
documents; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris a
contract for one (1) New Model Hydraulic Excavator, upon the
terms and conditions shown in Exhibit A attached hereto,
with Conley-Lott-Nichols Machinery Co.
