SUBJECT: Final Plat for Morrell Square Addition
DATE: February 22, 2021
BACKGROUND: Don Morrell owns 8.89 acres located at 2810 Northeast Loop 286. The
property is currently zoned Commercial (C), and the owner is platting the property into three
separate lots. There is an existing billboard in the northeast corner of the property and an
easement has been dedicated for access to it.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The owner has submitted a final plat of the property. Both sewer and
water are available. It appears that the plat complies with City of Paris regulations. The Planning
and Zoning Committee has approved this to go to City Council.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the final plat.
