1988-122-RES WHEREAS, the Paris Public Library did without authority make application for a grant to The John D. and

WHEREAS, the Paris Public Library did without authority
make application for a grant to The John D. and Catherine T.
MacArthur Foundation Library Video Classics Project; and,
WHEREAS, if the City Council is desirous of receiving
the grant, which requires no match, the heretofore
unauthorized actions must be ratified; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the preparation and submittal of application for
grant to The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation
Library Video Classics Project, is hereby ratified; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That said grant be, and the
same is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute acceptance documents.
