1988-118-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris did in Resolution No. 88-101, authorize the State Department of Highways RESOLUTION NO. s:u:~_ '18 WHEREAS, the City of Paris did in Resolution No. 88-101, authorize the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation Division of the State of Texas to install, construct, use, operate and maintain traffic signals on highways inside the City of Paris which meet State of Texas warrants, more particularly described in Traffic Signal Agreement-Type G with Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2, authorized in said Resolution No. 88-101; and, WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation has proposed an improvement project entitled State Project CPM 0045-09-055, Lamar County, Upgrade Highway Traffic Signals at Various Locations in Paris, which project is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris and should be approved; and, WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation and should be reviewed by Earl Smith, City Engineer and upon his approval should be approved by the City of Paris and executed by the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation Project CPM 0045-09-055, Lamar County, Upgrade Highway Traffic Signals at Various Locations in Paris, be, and the same is hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the review and approval of the City Engineer, Earl Smith, the plans and specifications for the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation Project No. CPM 0045-09-055, are hereby approved and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S.
