1988-117-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of the fact that Lots I, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
made aware of the fact that Lots I, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and
11, City Block 315-A being in an area temporarily zoned
Agriculture (Al, are being used for commercial purposes and
proper zoning should be applied; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris that such zoning classification be re-
viewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris to consider changing such zoning classification to a
Commercial District (Cl and in the event that it finds the
same should be changed that such recommendation should be
made to the City Council for final action; and,
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing
be set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 7: 00
o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on the 3rd day of January, 1988, and before the City
Council at 5:15 o'clock P.M. on the 5th day of January,
1988; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS
That the matter of zoning classification change on Lots I,
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11, City Block 315-A from
Agriculture (Al to Commercial District (Cl be, and the same
is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of
the City of Paris for its recommendation concerning the
proper zoning of the same; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held
by and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Paris at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 3rd day of January, 1988,
and a public hearing be held by and before the City Council
of the City of Paris at 5: 15 o'clock P.M. in the Council
Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas on the 5th day of January,
1988, said public hearings to be held concerning appropriate
zoning on said property.
