1988-115-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of the fact that Lot 3, City Block
RESOLUTION NO. 88-115
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
made aware of the fact that Lot 3, City Block 112, within
the corporate limits of the City of Paris, has a zoning
classification of Two Family Dwelling District (2F) with the
lots south being zoned Office District (0) and the remainder
of the property on the north and east in the same block
being zoned General Retail District (GR); and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris that such zoning classification be re-
viewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris to consider changing such zoning classification to an
Office District (0) and in the event that it finds the same
should be changed that such recommendation should be made to
the City Council for final action; and,
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing
be set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 7: 00
o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on the 5th day of December, 1988, and before the City
Council at 5: 15 0' clock P.M. on the 8th day of December,
1988; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS
That the matter of zoning classification change on Lot 3,
City Block 112 from a Two Family Dwelling District (2F) to
an Office District (0), be, and the same is hereby referred
to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris
for its recommendation concerning the proper zoning of the
same; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held
by and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Paris at 7: 00 0' clock P.M., in the City Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 5th day of December, 1988,
and a public hearing be held by and before the City Council
of the City of Paris at 5:15 o'clock P.M. in the Council
Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas on the 8th day of December,
1988, said public hearings to be held concerning appropriate
zoning on said property.
