1988-111-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 88-061, authorize
RESOLUTION NO. 88-111
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 88-061, authorize Amendments 2
and 3 to Grant Agreement with the Texas Aeronautical Commis-
sion being TAC Project No. 866-24, in which Grant
Agreement was authorized in Resolution No. 86-126; and,
WHEREAS, anticipated Amendments No. 2 and 3 were
combined by the Texas Aeronautical Commission into Amendment
No.2, attached hereto as Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, said Amendment No. 2 provides for the
following: Seal cracks and joints in Runways 13/31, 3/21,
taxiway and apron; Restripe Runways 13/31, 3/21 and 17/35;
Replace rotating beacon; install taxiway guidance signs,
and, therefore, Resolution No. 88-061 should be repealed;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Resolution No. 88-061 be and same is hereby
repealed and held for naught; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the form of Amendment No. 2
to the Grant Agreement with Texas Aeronautical Commission
being TAC Project No. 866-24, attached hereto as Exhibit A
is in all things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris Amendment
No. 2 to Grant Agreement with Texas Aeronautical Commission
for TAC Project No. 866-24 in the form attached hereto as
Exhibit A.
