RESOLUTION NO. 88-031
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1987, the Lamar County
Appraisal District purchased a lot located at 521 Bonham
Street in Paris, Lamar County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the Lamar County Appraisal District has
proposed the construction of an office building on said lot;
and,
WHEREAS, Section 6.051 of the Texas Property Tax Code
requires the Lamar County Appraisal District to obtain
ratification of the lot purchase and approval of the
construction proposal; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Council does hereby ratify and approve
the Lamar County Appraisal District's lot purchase and
proposed construction of an office building.
