1988-007-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Ordinance No. 87-084 annex property
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 007
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Ordinance No. 87-084 annex property described
on Exhibit A, attached hereto, as Tract One which was
automatically assigned a temporary zoning classification of
A, Agricultural District and should be reviewed for zoning
change to appropriate catagories; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended and the City Council of the City of Paris has
determined that the property described as Tract Two on
Exhibit A, attached hereto should be reviewed for zoning
change from Planned Development Office Center (PDf) to
Planned Development Retail Shopping Center (PDa); and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris that such tract one and two be reviewed
by the Planning & Zoning commission of the City of Paris and
should a zoning change be found to be appropriate that such
be recommended to the City Council for final action; and,
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a Public Hearing
be set before the Planning & Zoning Commission at 7:00
o'clock P.M., in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas
on the 1st day of February, 1988, and before the City
Council at 5: 15 0 I clock P.M., on the 4th day of February,
1988;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Paris that the matter of appropriate zoning for
Tract One on Exhibit A, attached hereto, and for rezoning
from Office (0) and Planned Development Office Center (PDf)
to Planned Development Retail Shopping Center (PDa) for
Tract Two on Exhibit A, attached hereto, be, and the same
are hereby referred to the Planning & Zoning Commission of
the City of Paris for its recommendation concerning the
proper zoning of said Tracts; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Public Hearing be held by
and before the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas on the 1st day of February, 1988, and a Public
Hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City
of Paris at 5: 15 0' clock P.M. in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas on the 4 th day of February, 1988, said
Public Hearings to be held to hear all persons desiring to
be heard concerning appropriate zoning for Tract One and Two
on Exhibit A, attached hereto.
