1988-058-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
RESOLUTION NO. 88-058
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member
of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark-Tex
Council of Governments the Board of Directors of same shall
be composed of members elected or appointed by the member-
ship; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three
members of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of
Governments as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, Eric Clifford, Mayor of the City of Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City
of Paris of E. W. (Bill) Booth as William (Bill) Bone's
successor, and Rondie Williams as Billy Joe Burnett's
successor, to serve until their successors are duly
qualified or installed or until they become disqualified to
so serve; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS: That E. W. (Bill) Booth and Rondie Williams be, and
they are hereby appointed as members of the Board of
Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments, to serve until
their successors are duly qualified or installed, or until
they become disqualified to so serve.
