Love Civic Center and Zoom Meeting
Monday, March 15, 2021
4:00 pm
Members Present: Chadlee Johnston, Brittney Keys, Tony Corso, John Bratcher, Mark Pankaj,
Lea Emerson, Vicki Ballard, Brian Richie, Dustin Broadway, Bud Mistry, Ryan Whitaker and
Bryan Hargis.
Staff Present: Becky Semple, Gina Crawford and Paul Allen.
Minutes: A motion to approve January minutes was made by Tony Corso, seconded by Lea
Emerson. Motion passed unanimously.
Financials: Vicki Ballard presented the February financials. A motion to approve was made by
Britney Keys, seconded by Mark Pankaj. Motion passed unanimously.
New Business:
Becky Semple presented the funding for the Paris Steak Wars on April 91h and 10th. This event
was already approved but had to be delayed due to Covid. They were awarded $1550.00
Becky Semple presented a funding request for Paris Championship Golf Tournament on June
15-18, 2021. Based on the scoring criteria, a motion was made to approve $1825.00 by Tony
Corso, seconded by Bud Mistry. Motion passed unanimously.
Becky Semple presented a funding request for Nosework Detection Trial Dog competition on
April 9-11, 2021. Based on the scoring criteria, a motion was made to approve $1300.00 by
John Bratcher, seconded by Tony Corso. Motion passed unanimously.
Old Business: Antique cars will be coming through Paris and staying a few days for the Texas
Tour.
Adiourn: Lea Emerson made a motion to adjourn, Bud Mistry seconded.
Meeting adjourned at 4:22 p.m.
