1988-075-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is in receipt of a request from Home Communications, Inc.
RESOLUTION NO. 88-075
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is in
receipt of a request from Home Communications, Inc. for
permission to transfer the franchise granted in Ordinance
No. 84-082, passed on the 12th day of November, 1984, to
Arena Cablevision Corporation, and thereafter on the 9th day
of December, 1985, authorized by Resolution 85-107 to be
transferred to Home Communications, Inc., and,
WHEREAS, it appears that the best interest of the
citizens being serviced by Home Communication, Inc. would be
served by the granting of the requested permission to
transfer said franchise; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Home Communication, Inc., is granted permission
to transfer its rights under the franchise originally
granted to Arena Cablevision Corporation in Ordinance No.
84-082 to River Communications Limited Partnership #1, c/o
River Communications, Inc., Suite 202, 1010 MoPac Circle,
Austin, Texas 78746.
Passed and adopted this 28th day of July, 1988.
