1988-074-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been requested by Marvin-Jennings-Clardy Water
RESOLUTION NO. 88-074
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
requested by Marvin-Jennings-Clardy Water Corporation to
furnish water service to it; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it
to be mutually beneficial to offer to serve
Marvin-Jennings-Clardy Water Corporation upon the terms and
conditions contained in Water Service Contract attached
hereto as Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, such contract should be offered to
Marvin-Jennings-Clardy Water Corporation; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City of Paris offer water service to
Marvin-Jennings-C1ardy Water Corporation upon the terms and
conditions and in the form of the Water Service Contract
attached hereto as Exhibit A; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon acceptance of the
offer and execution of the Water Service Contract ill the
form of Exhibit A attached hereto, by the appropriate
Marvin-Jennings-Clardy Water Corporation officials that the
Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of
Paris to execute such Water Service Contract in said form
and so executed by Marvin-Jennings-Clardy Water Corporation.
