Governing Board Minutes
Love Civic Center
January 14, 2021
Present: Curtis Fendley, Steve Smith, Vicki Ballard Russell Jackson, Sydney Young, Angie Carter, Dr. Pam Anglin,
Scott Avery, Dr. Shaneka Scott, Dr. Wally Kraft, Melanie Palmer and Brian Boyer.
Staff: Kern Wright, Becky Semple and Paul Allen.
Curtis Fendley called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.
A motion to approve the November minutes was made by Steve Smith, seconded by Angie Carter.
Vicki Ballard gave an overview of the December 2020 financials. A motion to approve was made by Vicki Ballard,
seconded by Dr. Wally Kraft. Motion passed unanimously.
Paul Allen stated that WRAA was awarded the contract for the renovations of the Love Civic Center. It will go to
city council in January and hopefully work will start sometime in early Summer.
Gina Crawford stated that service contracts have been sent out and we will receive the bids by February 1.
A motion to approve to adjourn meeting at 4:06 was made by Dr. Wally Kraft.
