WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore lease 9.1
acres of land, more or less, to Midwest Video Corporation by
lease dated December 12, 1980 to Midwest Video Corporation
for a term of 25 years beginning on October 1, 1980; and,
WHEREAS, Cooke Cablevision, Inc., successor to McCaw
Cablevision, which was a successor to Midwest Video Corpo-
ration is desirous of subleasing space upon its tower which
is erected upon said leased property; and,
WHEREAS, it appears to be right and proper to grant
Cooke Cablevision, Inc. the right to sublease with the City
being paid 10% of the sublease rent; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that Cooke Cablevision, Inc. be and it is hereby
granted permission to sublease tower space on the 9.1 acre
tract of land leased from the City of Paris conditioned upon
Cooke Cablevision, Inc. paying to the City of Paris 10% of
all sublease rent received.
