WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did
heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions for painting markings on the primary runway at Cox
Field; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications
prepared by Dick Boots, Director of Facilities,
and specifications are recommended for approval;
have
which
and,
been
plans
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be
approved and such proj ect should be advertised for bids;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the plans and specifications for painting
markings on the primary runway at Cox Field are hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such project for painting
markings on the primary runway at Cox Field should be
advertised for bids to be received after due notice and
thereafter returned to City Council for letting.
Passed and adopted this 8th day of January, 1987.
