1987-010-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the
RESOLUTION NO. 87-010
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the contract for
construction of Additions to Water Treatment Plant to
Heritage Constructor's, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss,
recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order
No. 7 attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a
net increase in contract price of $15,100.00 to a total of
$3,104,899.00 with no increase in contract time, for includ-
ing 5,000 pounds of additional structural steel to replace
corroded or worn out members and shafts on the existing
sludge rake and f1occu1ators in the existing sedimentation
basin; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the contract for Additions to the Water Treat-
ment Plant is hereby amended by Change Order No. 7 attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris,
Billy Joe Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Paris, to execute said Change Order.
