1987-012-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 86-120 make application for funds for
RESOLUTION NO. 87-012
WHEREAS, the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution
No. 86-120 make application for funds for assistance through
the Texas Aeronautical Commission for the purpose of
routing, cleaning and sealing 260,000 linear feet of joints
and paint markings on the two secondary runways, apron and
taxiways at City of Paris, Cox Field Airport; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
thereafter in Resolution No. 86-126 authorize the entering
into of a Grant Agreement with Texas Aeronautical Commission
TAC Project No 866-24; and,
WHEREAS, said contract should be amended as reflected
in Amendment No. 1 attached hereto as Exhibit A, which
amendment changes the work description by adding the
restriping of Runway 17/35; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe
Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute on behalf of the City of Paris Amendment No. 1 to
Grant Agreement with Texas Aeronautical Commission for TAC
Project No 866-24 in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.

AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Texas Aeronautics Commission, has determined it to be in the
interest of the State of Texas that the Grant Agreement between the Director,
Texas Aeronautics Commission, acting by and on behalf of the State of Texas,
and City of Paris, Texas (hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor") dated
December 5, 1986, and accepted by said Sponsor on December 8, 1986, relating
to Paris Cox Field, Paris, Texas, TAC Project No. 866-24, be amended as
hereinafter provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the
State of Texas on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the other part, do hereby
mutually agree that the said Grant Agreement shall be and is hereby amended
by changing the work description as follows:
Seal cracks and joints in Runways 13/31, 3/21, taxiway
and apron; Restripe Runways 13/31, 3/21 and 17/35
All other terms of the Grant Agreement shall remain without change.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to the said
Grant Agreement to be duly executed as of the 8th day of January, 1987.
