WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of
the Civil Service Commission of the City of Paris due to the
resignation of Tommy Haynes, and it is necessary to appoint
his successor, and the City Manager of the City of Paris,
Michael E. Malone, having appointed Philip Cecil to serve
the unexpired term of Tommy Haynes, which ends December 31,
1987, has submitted the name of such person to the City
Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS: That the appointment of Philip Cecil, as a member of
the Civil Service Commission of the City of Paris, to serve
the unexpired term of Tommy Haynes, which ends December 31,
1987, is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby
approved and confirmed.
Passed and adopted this 9th day of February, 1987.
